I've really enjoyed this interface ever since I got it, and I'm glad to see there are fellow Studio One users trying it out.
The MIDI input ports of the keyboard are turned off.
This issue can be caused by the following: The services NIHardwareAgent and/or NIHostIntegrationAgent are not running. If you can use headphones through the UMC with it selected as the audio device in Studio One and get output, that will validate this theory.Īgain, I hope I'm not telling you anything you've already tried. You cannot hear any sound when playing the keys of your KOMPLETE KONTROL S-Series keyboard and it is not available as a MIDI device in the KOMPLETE KONTROL Preferences. You'd need to switch over to record inputs, though I think MIDI will still work either way. I would say the solution until you get your monitors is to set your audio device in Studio One to Windows Audio. At the same time, Studio One plays through the UMC to my monitors/headphones. For example, my Windows audio is set to my computer speakers, and that's where sound from my browser, Windows sounds, etc. Setting your audio device in Studio One determines what output it plays from, while setting the playback device through Windows sets what output your other Windows sounds come through-the important thing being they are independent.
